Data Sonification & Visualization — Exploring the theme of global warming, I transformed datasets on annual change of deforestation and sea level (1960–2020) into audio signals using Max MSP. I layered these with raw nature sounds—water for floods, wind for deforestation—and shaped the composition through pitch, timbre, dynamics, and tone to create a musical dimension. Paired with a visual sequence of audio reactive motion imageries, the work merges data sonification and visualization to communicate both the message and raw reality of climate change in an abstract, experiential form.
